A. Secondino & Son recently upgraded our millshop with two new machines in January 2025. We added the Biesse Rover KFT1536, our new control machining center, “CNC” for short. This CNC machine designs and creates panels made from wood and wood derivatives. It features advanced software integration, allowing for precise customization and intricate detailing, and can handle a wide range of cutting, drilling, and routing tasks with speed and accuracy. The addition of this equipment will streamline our cabinet-making process, improving both efficiency and speed.
We also installed a Biesse Akron 1300, a new Edgebander. An Edgebander is a woodworking tool that applies a thin strip of material to the edges of wood panels. This machine will enhance our quality with more precise edge application and a professional finish. It also has the capability to run PUR adhesive, which offers superior water and heat resistance, resulting in a much stronger bond.
